As I have said in other reviews I have been searching for my true bra size. I finally visited a Freya stockist (over 2 1/2 hours from my home) and tried on loads of bras after trying some through orders from BN and sending most of them back.
When I found this bra in my "true size" (Freya's 30FF), I was in love. I have this bra in both colors. I wish it came in more colors. This is the most comfortable bra I have ever worn in my life. It is perfect under t-shirts, sweaters, nice low cut tight tops, and anything I can think of or have tried it under.
These are so comfortable that once I put them on, I don't even notice or feel like I am wearing a bra. I have always heard that you should never feel like you have to take your bra off when you get home, but I never believed it until I wore this bra!
I know that Freya has some other deco bras that aren't quite the same, so I guess I will try one of those soon too since I need a nude/beige/white bra to wear under light colored clothing too, but I wish it came in this exact style.
I'm used to push up bras and lots of padding and lift, and those bras are usually heavier too. These bras have some light padding, but they are not "push up" bras with padding an inch thick. However, now I realize that if the bra is the RIGHT size, it holds the girls up in front where they are supposed to be and with a 30FF, I don't NEED the push up bra, if the bra fits right and holds them where they are supposed to be without all that padding.
I have chronic pain conditions and have had previous chest trauma, and need something supportive to take the weight off my chest from my large bust size, to alleviate the pain I seem to often feel in my ribcage. These bras do this too.
These bras are perfect for everything I want in a bra. I cannot say enough good stuff about these bras. I know my reviews are wordy, but I like to touch on as many details as I want, or questions others may have.
There is nothing else to say though, these bras (I say these since i have this style in both colors) are perfect! The best bras I have ever worn!
Yes, I recommend this product.

Just as the title says; the more I wear this bra, the more I like it. I am not sure if the 32F in this bra is the right size for me or not. I went back and forth between ordering a 32F or a 30G, but when I finally ordered 32F was available in red and the 30G was only available in black or nude like most of the other bras I have viewed in similar sizes. At first it seemed super tight, I wasn't sure I was going to even be able to fasten it. However, the band slipped a little right away after putting it on. After wearing it for a night it stretched out even more. I wore it a couple more times and then washed it, but by the time it hang dried, it was still stretched out more. I could fasten this on the tightest hole if I wanted to and it would stay in place more that way. However, I do not want to do that and end up stretching it out EVEN MORE already. This being said, I think perhaps I should have went with the 30G instead, but after wearing it for a few days and cutting the tags off I cannot send it back. I have gained some extra weight in the past couple of months from holiday eating too, so I definitely think the next time I order a Chantelle Bra, it will be in a 30 band size.
This bra is very thin material, and my nipples show through. Even after putting on a camisole or t-shirt over it, my nipples still show through. I wore this out of the house the first night I bought it with a camisole and a sweater on over it. However, this has now become one of my "at home bras." I do not like leaving the house in bras that are this thin. I don't want my nipples on display to the whole world. Also, being thin, it isn't very flattering to the shape or placement of my breasts either. It seems to separate my breasts and flatten them out. Being in an F cup, one would not think this would be a problem, but with this bra on and the camisole and sweater I wore over it the first time I wore this, I looked like an A cup when I went out on a date with my boyfriend. I would not recommend wearing this to work or out for a night out. It's not very flattering.
With the negatives aside, I have been wearing this bra at home almost every day for a week or so. It is perfect to wear around the house. It is surprisingly supportive. I have osteo-arthritis in my ribs due to calcification from 7 fractured ribs and a fractured shoulder, fibromyaglia, and Unspecified Connective Tissue Disease. Plus, I have had 2 collapsed lungs almost 10 years ago, so I carry a lot of pain in my rib cage area and in my chest. These things combined with having a somewhat smaller frame and somewhat larger breast cup size, I need something to wear that will fully support my breasts and take the weight and pressure off of my chest and ribs. This bra does that for me. Since, I have been wearing this bra at home, I haven't been noticing nearly as much pain and pressure in my ribs and chest. Sometimes it slips and I am yanking it up throughout the day, but after I've had it on for a couple hours I usually completely forget it is there. That is my favorite thing about it, that I can forget I have a bra on. The straps stay in place well when you adjust them too due to the way they are made.
I like the way the cups cover my whole breasts too and fit perfectly around the entire breast as the sizing video shows that bras are supposed to. I wish it didn't slip and wish it hadn't stretched out so much so fast, but I think that just means that I need to go with the 30 band size next time. I can't say whether it means the bra fits large or not, I think the problem is that I don't know my true bra size yet.
I have been trying to find my True Bra Size for quite some time now. Any specialty bra stores are 100+ miles away from me that offer non-traditional sizes. The bra stores around here that do not sell the smaller band sizes and bigger cup sizes are only sizing me into the bra sizes they sell and these just do not fit. I ordered from Bare Necessities a few years back, but had forgotten about it until recently. I am sick of the bands on my old bras being so stretched out that they do not fit, and sick of the cups digging in on the smaller bands because they are not big enough.
All in all, I recommend this bra as a great supportive stay at home and around the house bra. It may not look flattering or be the right bra to wear to work out of the home, or to wear anywhere out of the home, but if you like something light and supportive at home - this is a great bra.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I really liked this bra. However, I have been recently trying new bras trying to find my true size in bras, and the 30F I ordered in this one didn't fit. I found that the cups were too small, and the band slipped a little. I have found with another new bra I recently purchased that if the band slips a little when you first try it on, it will probably slip or move around quite a bit after a few hours of wear. I am not sure if I need to try 30FF next or 28G, but Bare Necessities has neither of these sizes left in it. I will have to wait and hope that when Freya comes out with the new Ashlee style bra in January or February that perhaps I can order it from here to figure out which size fits best.
I marked true to size because the band seemed to run a little big, but the cups seemed to run a little small, so I didn't know how to else to represent that from the options above.
I have tried following my measurements, but since bras don't follow that type of sizing that well anymore, it is pretty much trial and error. There are no stores within 100 miles of where I live that sell anything other than the more "normal" sizes. Therefore, they only measure and fit people into sizes that they carry. I have been measured as 32DD, or 34DD in the stores around here, and NONE of these sizes fit. The cups in the 32DD's are too small. The bands fit in some of the brands fit, but in others they are loose. The 34 bands are too big. The cups fit in some, but not in others. It is hit or miss, so I have ordered a few bras in a few different sizes in line with my measurements and how my current bras fit to see what works in different brands. So far I haven't found anything that fits perfectly yet, but I have sent back some and am ordered different sizes.
All in all though, this was a pretty, comfortable, supportive, and lifting bra. It does everything I was looking for in a bra except fit me well.

Change my review of this from 4 to 5 stars.
Posted January 2, 2013
Thinking again about this bra makes me wish I had given it a 5 star rating. It wasn't the bra's fault it didn't fit. I don't know what size I need. I wish I could travel the 100+ miles to find a Freya stockist to find out what size I needed in this, and I wish Bare Necessities had more sizes available in this for me to try. The fabric was soft and comfortable and I would have loved this bra completely if I had the correct size! I can't wait until I can try more of the Ashlee style bras from Freya when they come out!

Armpit boobs?!?!
By Bethanie from Kansas City, MO, USA
Oh no. Oh NO NO NO. And I was so excited about this bra! I bought this and another Parisa Fe bra at the same time. The other being the body veil racerback underwire by PF. My box was delivered and I squealed with delight as I opened it up. But all that excitement dissipated quickly as soon as I put the bra on. Lift, maybe.. separate.. OH MY. My breasts were pulled all the way back into my armpits. It's like whoever designed this bra must have taken the shape from a woman laying flat on her back. It almost felt like someone had come up behind me, reached around under my arms, grabbed my breasts, and pulled them back in such a way as to attempt tucking them in under my arm. I looked down and where had the girls gone?!? I was so upset.
On top of the horrible fit and shape of the bra, I had to take a loss for returning it! Yeah, they send you a return shipping label in case you're not satisfied- but they deduct the cost of that return label if you use it. So, either pay out of your own pocket to return or you'll pay for that return label. How lovely. And I'm usually so smitten with BN. I promise, I will never purchase another Parisa Fe garment EVER again.

This is completely opposite of how this bra fit me
Posted April 3, 2013
I can't believe this bra did this to you. This is one of the first bras I have found in a long time in a smaller band size with larger cup size that does not pull them apart in the center. It pushes them up and together and is rather supportive. I bought this in 32G. I wish they had it in 30H because I think the band is still a slight bit too big, but I will take what I can get. I have found from experience that bras that pull my boobs apart like that tend to be too large in the band. Perhaps if you tried a smaller band size it would have fit better.

Posted April 3, 2013
I have had this for about 3 months now. I still like this bra. It is thin and has nipple show through, so I only wear it at home. It pulls my boobs out to the side and smashes them down, but I am considering ordering another one in a 30G instead to have another "at home" bra. I think the smaller band would fit better and wouldn't push the girls apart so much.

How well does this cover nipples?

Does this bra have nipple show through? Many thin bras leave nipples showing through the bra and even thin shirts. I don't like wearing bras out of the house that cause nipples to show through.
