Reviews are so helpful This is truly one of the most supportive bras that I have ever owned and I just love it. So far I have not had a problem with the wires but I have not had it that long. The material is not as sleek and smooth as other high quality bras but that is not a problem for me. I highly recommend this bra also.

This was a gift from my boyfriend for a 'special occasion' as I certainly cannot afford a lovely bra like this myself. I don't even have internet in my house right now. I was so excited when he brought the box over and he made the comment that too bad it was not a Mercedes, at least I could park it in the drive way and everyone could admire it. As it is now, the number of admirers is rather limited. He can be very nice and funny, sometimes. However, since I have worn the bra most every day since getting it, I have learned a few things, both good and bad. Its just a beautiful gorgeous bra. I love just looking at it. The quality is excellent and since I sew, I enjoy studying the stitching. It is a light bra, which made me suspicioous that it would not be that supportive but i was very pleasntly surprised about that. the girls fit right into the cups and the side support works so well. the bra must be very well designed to provide that firm support in such a light, sleek feeling bra. But, after wearing it awhile, I found some areas of disappointment. I have become accustomed to bras with wider and stronger bands and I wish it had three hooks instead of two. The shoulder straps are nicely wide and the same sleek material, but I wish they were thicker and sturdier. I think that would make me feel a little more secure during the day as i move around. I love this bra, but frankly, I have others, far less expensive that are...quite nice also.

These shorts were given to me as a present by a friend, Susan, one of those presents where I will probably, actually, end up paying for them. Most likely she 'bought' them for me in expectation of my looking at least somewhat like the model. That was not the case. The shorts are not light, try Bike or UA, they were not smooth and confortable, they were tight in the legs and loose elsewhere else causing folds that chafed when I moved. Worst of all, the waist band was not strong and firm like it just HAS to be when you are moving around alot. Sorry Susan, but next time, take my advice.

To look professioonal for my job and because I feel it is important, I wear pantyhose or stockings every day, so I have worn ALOTof brands and these are very, very nice. They feel great, they look great and so far, the MOST important thing for me, they have lasted...they have lasted better than I would have thought. I wish that I could have tried the 575 that everyone is talking about.

My boyfriend showed me an article on the internet that said that one third of the reviews on the internet are phony. I really believe that is NOT true on Bare Necessities. These reviews of this bra are so..right on.. so perfect, and BeckyK92 is soooo right about the cups coming up high which has proved to be a bigger problem for me than I thought it would be. But the bra has super support and so very very comfortable. It is like the body suede in that its a wonderful bra for work and long days. I really rely on and trust these reviews. The color is beautiful...I love it!

This bra is an excellent example of the helpfulness of reviews. You can read them and truly get a realistic impression of this bra. Even the critical comments point out characteristics of this bra. I learn so much, and even enjoy reading these reviews. The band is tight, which I can understand for many women means that it is too small because that is how I used to feel until I went ahead and tried the bra a few times (not this one, another one) and realized how much better the support was with that, 'snug' band. this bra has great support for us women, the vast majority, who do not have sizing issues with the cups. Along with the snug band, is the broader band in back and really good strong straps which makes this an excellent bra for fuller figures, seeking that good comfortable, all day, long day support. Not the prettiest bra, not a 'fun' bra, but I have learned, 'fun' bras can be painful if worn to work for long days, especially if you have to get up, bend over, file, and all that. Though it is a Saturday, and I usually want to feel a little more special and wear a cute, or sexy bra, I am wearing this one right now just because I have become accustomed to reaching for it.

Cute...Sassy...Sexy! They certainly do not leave much for the imagination! Woo! Woo! I have never worn a small, not even a diaper as a baby, though, of course, I don't remember, but we were all big babies. This was a gift for a most special friend of ours and she was very thrilled, surprised and a little embarrassed. She kept saying this panty was... not her type (or age proper). But I just told her not to wear it to church and no one would know, unless she wanted them to! Woo! Woo!

This bra looks to be a sturdy bra, but it is in fact, quite light. The workmanship is not great and it is not the most comfortable one though i was suprised at how supportive it was. I doubt if it will wear very well. But I like this bra because.. well, one, my boyfriend says that i look 'awesome' in it and I like that! There is an aspect of bras that is not mentioned much. Actually, this is not my original idea, I read it in another review by another lady, and she is so right. There should be a category for, 'fun'. I think that bras can be 'fun'. They can be fun for how they make us look, how they make us feel, how we feel when we get a compliment in them. I admit that i like to look at 'my girls' in a sexy fun bra like this. It makes me feel pretty all over. It gives me confidence, which i need. This is not a wear everyday to work or go shopping bra. but when I feel like having and feeling fun, when i want to feel good about myself, I love this bra.

A few years ago, after many years of having and wearing only practical bras, I went through a long time of wearing and wanting pretty bras which i rated highly, mainly because they were so pretty and feminine. But now, I am wanting more comfortable, supportive ones. In fact, I have given many of those earlier, pretty bras to my sisters and other relatives. But this bra surprised me. it is very pretty, very feminine, very sexy, AND supportive and comfortable. I prefer colorful bras but many are gifts from my boyfriend. He took me on a cruise last month, so I cannot complain too much. Unfortunately he caught a cold then and he is still sick. The banding system is different than say, Le Mystere, but the design makes it work. I recommend this bra.

I have heard alot of criticsm of Le Mystere bras and I really do not understand that. They are made very well. I would not be surprised if they outlived me. I have several Le Mystere bras and most have a tight band with four hooks and I like that, now. It is a pretty tight band and alot of others don;t like that but i now understand it is important for good support. This bra is the same and it is very supportive. It is not the prettiest bra nor a fun bra, but the last couple of years I have come to appreciate a comfortable, supportive bra alot more.

I wore my first girdle when I was 12when I stole it out of my sister's room. It was a rite of passage for women in my family and I have worn one almost every day since. In the early days I wore hand me downs which might be called child abuse today. But at the time I was proud to be like my sisters and Momma who said of girdles, 'if it ain't hurting, it ain't working'. I do not think any woman is happy about receiving a girdle from a husband or boyfriend because I do not need to be reminded by HIM. But I have to admit this 'power panty' is surprisingly comfortable, though I am not sure it is working, because it isn't hurting. On weekends, it is the only shapewear that I wear.

I would not recommmend this product for skinny jeans, the material is too thick, it is thicker than it appears in the picture. but it is a soft, comfortable material.

Wearing a minimizer is not really my thing, as my 'girls' are... well, MY GIRLS. But with some of my blouses and going to Church and, well, I thought I should buy a minimizer and I believe that Wacaol bras are well made (I have one), but I am not sold that they are truly experts in large breasted women, like say, Elomi. I am one eighth Cherokee and my heritage really shows in my skin, my hair and my eyes and I believe I that look very beautiful in this bra, and I have been told so. I was tempted to submit a picture. Its not as supportive as I usually like but it is nicely made and very pretty.

the reviews on this bra tell it all. its not as firmly supportive as some of my other bras, the Elomi come to mind, but for me this is such a wonderful bra because it feels so comfortable and its beauty makes me FEEL even better. By those who should know, and I agree, my 'girls' are my pride and this bra certainly makes them look their best. I have a sheer black blouse that has just the right amount of transparency. My boyfriend took me out last night and, well, it was very very nice.

I have alot of bras. Really, I admit, I have too many. My sisters say that I should be on Dr Phil. And I like or love, most all my bras (or I give it to a sister! We are all about the same size). But, this bra really is a wardrobe must and I certainly would not consider it a minimizer as someone asked. These reviews just say it all. Many of the ladies say it so much better than me. I love to read them. There are many smart ladies and comments.

I have been searching for a bra to replace some bras I have had for years. I am a 34DDD and everything for my size is either so full-coverage that I feel like I'm wearing armor, or it does nothing to support me. This is the perfect amount of coverage but not so much that I feel stifled, the straps in this size range are padded (thank goodness), and they give me a nice shape. I actually ended up wearing one cup size DOWN, although I am keeping the DDD for the times of the month when I need a larger bra. My husband loves it, even though it looks like a very plain bra. I am going to stock up.

Hi, I hope that I can help. the Spanx website has a nice chart, which might be best to consult. Particularly since for women, 'small' can be a general, or comparative size. My youngest sister likes to say that she is a 'small' but she is certainly not an, 'A', on the Spanx chart. If your girlfriend is under 5'5" and 120 pounds, or 5'1" and 124 pounds, then she would need a size A. If she is over that, and she is a B, and you can tell her that A is a Petite.

I'm not sure I purchased the correct size
I purchased this bra in a 38DDD AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE WAY IT FEELS!!!!! I'm just wondering about the underwire in the front - shouldn't it be laying flat up against the breastbone area? Seems that it should be. Should I up the size to a 40DDD? The underwire is perfect in the underarm area (very sensitive area) and I just absolutely love this bra - AFTER THE HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS (AND QUITE POSSIBLY WELL PAST THE $1000.00 MARK) that I have spent in my long quest to find THE PERFECT BRA!!! Everything about this bra IS PERFECT - except for the fact that the underwire in the middle of the bra does not lay flat and/or separate as I think it should.
Hi Tracey, I think that you and I would get along great. My sisters say that I remind them of those old ladies that have hundreds of cats except I have bras. I really don't know how I got so many which is probably what those old ladies say about their cars. Of course, my sisters also enjoy borrowing them, wearing them (and sometimes not returning them). Yes, something is wrong there as the underwire should lay flat and I would recommend you try a 40DDD. Wacoal makes some very nice minimizers that you might want to try and I just got one of the new Spanx ones, which is alot simpler in design than I like and i do not care for black, but the fit is just fabulous, its like the cups were custom made for me.
